Diamond Studded Gingerbread House: What will you do if you have 15 kg of flour and 17 kg of sugar left? Well, Debbie Wingham, 41, from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, took full advantage of it and created a giant Dolce & Gabbana-inspired gingerbread worth £6.3 million studded with diamonds for a couple’s proposal. Scroll down to read the details.
According to reports, the designer and food artist dedicated more than two weeks to carefully studying the high-cost homes and capturing their details with precision.
‘Designer’ clothes of intricately patterned edible rice paper were hung in elaborate structures. The house’s initial inspiration was the popularity of blue-pink at the time, the loose pink diamonds, and the fabulous dresses that everyone was tempted to show off on social media.
‘Andre braugher’ cause of death
The creation used three different diamonds, each worth a million pounds, designed to be incorporated into a couple’s wedding rings and matching jewelry. As a result, Baker Debbie created the world’s most expensive gingerbread house, which cost £6.3 million, was inspired by Dolce & Gabbana, and was covered in diamonds.
Debbie, an experienced baker who has baked cakes for royals and celebrities like Kim Kardashian and RuPaul, dedicated several weeks to this unique endeavor. Debbie’s connection with the designer’s vision was reflected in the gingerbread house, filled with homemade clothing items, mannequins, and D&G Puerto rice paper bags.
As part of the proposal, Debbie was tasked with building a lifelike gingerbread house. Using ginger cookies, icing sugar, chocolate, sprinkles, and fondant for decoration, she meticulously detailed the house, incorporating 15 kilos of flour and 17 kilos of sugar.
The one-meter-long and 75-cm-wide house resembles the customer-favorite Dolce & Gabbana Puerto Banus store. Intricate details included cabinets displaying a range of D&G shoes and bags. The house was studded with £3.1 million worth of loose pink diamonds, strategically placed among the Dolce & Gabbana signs on the exterior.
He shared that, despite his extensive experience creating Chinese art, this was his first proposal. The couple is now planning their engagement party for New Year’s Eve and will reveal the diamond ring and matching rings.
Debbie’s nervousness was evident as she presented the cakes to customers, exceeding the already high expectations associated with the cake store. The elaborate representation within the house reflects the essence of the Dolce & Gabbana brand, including luxurious dresses, designer brands, and intricate patterns.
