Olivia Rodrigo Guts Tour: 22-Song Setlist From Opening Night

Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts Tour debuted on Friday night in Palm Springs, and after an incredible opening-night performance, fans can now anticipate what to expect as the tour makes its way through the U.S. and Europe over the course of the next six months. Fans are curious to know if their favorites made the setlist.

To cut to the chase: If you’re a Rodrigo fan and have a favorite song from either of her albums, even one of the lesser-known non-singles, there’s a higher than 95% chance it’ll be featured on this tour.

There are no covers that she might do this time around. All 22 songs in the set are from Rodrigo’s two albums, “Sour” and “Guts,”  including one of the exclusive bonus tracks that came with some copies of the latter album, “Obsessed,” which is especially welcome for those who are, well, obsessed.

Rodrigo wore a “I’m Just a Girl” T-shirt for the encore, but the No Doubt song was not included in the show, as it was on many of her 2022 tour dates. It’s evident that she views the covers she performed on her initial tour as a type of Hamburger Helper to fill out a set based on a 35-minute freshman album. But she now has enough original material to fill a 95-minute concert, and she was excited to perform practically all of it live. In actuality, she sang all 12 songs from the standard edition of “Guts,” plus the bonus track as a 13th. Rodrigo featured nine of “Sour’s” eleven songs in the set (with the exception of “1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back” and “Hope You’re OK”).

One thing that is new compared to the 2022 tour is the addition of eight dancers. Sometimes, they danced in routines that were shown by cameras from above, but other times, they were not on stage during the quieter or most energetic songs.

The production of the tour isn’t as fancy as you might see nowadays, but Olivia Rodrigo’s natural charm is enough to make it special. However, there was one big part of the show: a giant prop in the shape of a quarter moon. Olivia sat on it and sang while moving across the field during two songs, “Logical” and “Enough for You.”.

Olivia was really happy at the end of the 95-minute show. She walked down one of the two paths entangled in the crowded area. He spent a few minutes with fans who were gathered around the walkway after the show ended.

Speculation about what songs Olivia Rodrigo would perform on her Guts Tour was a hot topic on social media platform X all day before the show.

This tour is one of the most sought-after events of 2024. Rodrigo kicked off the tour on Friday night in Southern California, where she will also end it. The concert took place at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, a new venue that many Californians haven’t visited yet. The tour will conclude with four shows at the Kia Forum from August 14th to 17th.

Chappell Roan was the opening act on Friday and will continue to be for all of Rodrigo’s tour dates until April 2nd, when the Breeders will take over for a few shows, followed by Remi Wolf and PinkPantheress.
