The 33-year-old pop superstar attended the New York City premiere of the film Poor Things on Wednesday, and as she walked out of the after-party at the Avra Rockefeller Center, she greeted a handful of fans waiting outside. As the Grammy winner’s security team escorted her out the door, she was captured reaching out to hug a young Swiftie.
In footage of the touching moment, the singer-songwriter was seen leaving the party with the intention of heading straight to her vehicle. However, as soon as her security put her in the car, her fans noticed her and ran over to say hello.
The “Cruel Summer” singer, who was warm in Charlotte Simone’s faux fur “Penny” coat, looked especially happy walking up to a little fan and giving her a sweet hug. Swift came out to support her longtime friend Emma Stone at the premiere of her latest film, Poor Things, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, on Wednesday. Although she didn’t walk the red carpet, she was photographed walking into the event, held at the DGA Theater in Manhattan, and posing with the 35-year-old Oscar winner.
In addition to wearing a long, black Charlotte Simone coat, the “Karma” singer was also styled in a sleek, fitted black gown with Giuseppe Zanotti open-toe pumps. A swept blowout with an exaggerated side part, along with her signature winged eyeliner and red lip, completed the look.
Earlier this year, Stone showed his love for Swift by attending the opening concert of Swift’s Eraser Tour in Glendale, Arizona, and a show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in June, the La La Land star explained what it was like to see her friend perform and reminisce about their 16-year friendship.
The Cruella actress said, “I was lucky because we’ve been friends for a really long time.” I’ve known him since we were 17 and 18, so he added me, which was great because I know that it is impossible to get tickets.”
