Ricardo Drew, a singer much loved by the Antigua and Barbuda community, passed away on Tuesday, December 12. Ricardo Drew, 38, was found unconscious at his home and was soon taken to a hospital near Antigua where he was pronounced dead. Following the tragedy, Ricardo Drew’s fiancee Patrice Roberts shared a video of herself kissing the late musician and expressed her grief. Sharing an adorable video, she wrote, “I would do anything to hear your voice… Get up.”

Ricardo Drew was born in Antigua and Barbuda and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, but had a strong interest in music since the age of five. Ricardo was heavily influenced by R&B, soca music and reggae. He also participated in social music and was part of a band called ‘Krosovah’.
